I had to take my chariot, the '01 Kia to NTB which is next door to AAMCO.  Only, I had not known that after waiting in line for 20 minutes @ NTB that NTB:
A.) Does not have my correct information in their system, even after going there for 7 years.
B.) Cannot fix my car because they do not have any "diagnostic" equipment.
C.) Do not care.
So, I'm not a mechanic, I don't know how to change the oil in my car, diagnose a grindy thang versus a shaky shaky thang, nor can I change a tire.  No, no.  No. No.  I just know how to pay in plastic and pray when I drive the Chariot around the mean streets of Lower Allston.
The guy took pity on my and said that they probably could diagonse the problem @ AAMCO.  
Well, where in god's green earth is this place?  
It was next door.
Yes, I've lived .02 miles from this location and yet, I've never noticed, AAMCO, the Beacon of Light!  The fixer of cars.  The harbinger of well, I don't even know what a harbinger is...but lemme tell you somethin -- the great guys @ AAMCO FIXED MY CAR!!!!!
Now, for those of you who have had the pleasure of being a passenger in the Chariot, you'll know that I take great measures to see that this car
A.) Runs and runs well and
and
B.) Is cleaner than your car.  Or, anyone else's car.  
Yes, folks, I take pride in my ride.
Well, Scott over @ AAMCO was able to diagnose the problem of my car and fix said car.
I might have paid a lot of money to get it fixed. And, might have means, I did (815 beans). No biggie, Steve gave me peace of mind and basically said, that my car will be good to go for another couple of years.  
I believe him.
I hope I won't be back to AAMCO anytime soon, but if you have a problemo w/ your chariot, why not give AAMCO a try?

Best car care in NH! I recently was stuck on the side of the road with a failed transmission in my 2004 Ford Explorer. I called AAMCO and spoke with the general manager, Jeremy, and he instantly got a tow truck to come get me and repair my vehicle. He alleviated my anxiety, was very empathetic, he treated me differently than other car care shops that I have been to. He kept to his word, diagnosed my vehicle for free, called me with the findings and price - I can happily say that after 4 months of driving with my new transmission, I made the right decision by fixing it with AAMCO. I highly recommend going to AAMCO in Concord, NH for any vehicle repairs that may be needed, especially for a transmission.



Finally an honest mechanic great job on my 2003 expedition...2 other trans shops told me i needed a new trans...charlestown aamco diagnosed a sensor issue and it cost me $199 instead of $2500. Thanks Charlestown aamco..it is nice to find an honest mecanic in this day and age!!!?


Great Shop!! The guys working here are awesome. They noticed that my problem wasn't a big transmission problem and found a way to fix it for cheaper than my other mechanic. Excellent customer service, great sense of humor!!

AAMCO Roslindale is a GRADE A++ Repair Shop!!! Dear AAMCO, I'd like to commend your staff at the Roslindale shop for their excellent service on my car recently. I initially approached them with engine rock that I thought (via a previous diagnosis at another auto repair shop) was due to either a bent valve or leaky piston ring. Rather than charge ahead on this information alone, one the your skilled mechanics, Scott, took the time to carefully re-diagnose the problem as a faulty fuel injector, saving me over $1000 of erroneous repair work. His patience and expertise, coupled with the trust and latitude afforded him by the shop manager, Mike Portelle, stand out as exemplary pillars committed service. Mike's honesty and diligence in managing the process also made it a particular pleasure to do business with your company. Lastly, I owe thanks to Mike F. for going out of his way to shuttle me home after I dropped my car off- this was indeed above and beyond the call of duty. You have earned a lifelong customer in me. just wanted to express my appreciation i brought my 2004 ford explorer into the dealership after being told by my mechanic i had a problem with my transmission. at ford i was quoted a price of almost $3700. when i called aamco and spoke with mike he insisted that there were other problems that could cause this and he should have his technician look at my vehicle, so i gave him that oppurtunity. To make a long story short i paid about $600 for a smaller repair and my truck runs as good as new. i work in retail and i know most people are so quick to comment on poor service, but rarely when they get great service. so thanks mike & chris. John R., customer for life!!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I wanted to send a follow up note in regards to the recent work that was done on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Beyond having the necessary work done to replace the starter on my vehicle, I wanted to recognize the service the manager, Mike McGrath, and the technicians extended to myself and more importantly my vehicle. I was unfortunate enough to recently have a very forgettable experience at a local dealership to have my service engine light diagnosed and soon learned that nothing had been fixed after paying the service fees, furthermore they wanted to charge me more to have it looked at an additional day, all the time while trying to work with them to have my warranty cover these charges. Needless to say Mike was able to have the needed O2 sensors replaced and have it covered under my warranty. I cannot say enough about the value and service I received and have already recommended to family and friends to bring their vehicles to this AAMCO location for any services needed. -Anthony
